Life isn't always "a walk in the park." No matter who you are or where you come from, chances are you'll face periods of challenge, turmoil and trouble. Going it alone isn't always the best option. In some cases, you may benefit from professional counseling or mentoring. All calls are confidential to ensure your privacy.Overview: Pathways Counseling Center CityLinC's Pathways Counseling Center offers affordable individual counseling services right in the heart of Battle Creek. We provide personalized care to treat the entire person – emotionally, physically, and spiritually. Our counselors are fully licensed and state certified, and they have the unique ability to relate to individuals of all backgrounds. CityLinC Counseling Center also offers a reduced fee schedule. Overview: The Mentor House The Mentor House is a new community resource designed to promote the vital role of mentoring in our area. Located in the heart of Battle Creek, the Mentor House provides much-needed meeting space, counseling rooms, office facilities and other resources to support CityLinC owns and operates the Mentor House, but it’s also available for use by other groups involved in mentoring. To learn more and see photos of The Mentor House, click here now. Overview: Second Wind Mentoring Each year in Michigan, more than 10,000 inmates are released from the state prison system. Thousands more are released from county jails. The majority of offenders (86%) are released under parole supervision. Re-entry into society can be an enormous challenge affecting both adults and children. Second Wind Mentoring is a partnership of CityLinC Ministries and more than a dozen mentoring groups in Calhoun County, Michigan. The mission of Second Wind Mentors is to serve released prisoners (and their families) during the re-entry process so they can become productive members of society. (Learn more now.)
